For years Andrew worked in the advertising game in the city whilst also building his own organic food business distributing nationally. It was during this time that Andrew developed a clear understanding of our food system and it became time to delve much deeper into the realm of food production and sustainability. Holding true to his principles to work only on businesses and projects that are good for people and the planet Andrew decided to ditch city life and get closer to the source.
Andrew has studied Permaculture, Biological Farming and Holistic Management. He also spent a significant amount
of time WWOOFing all over the east coast of Australia. Andrew was instrumental in setting up Possum Creek Eggs and Byron Creek Farm, both small scale diversified regenerative farms. Whilst setting up and managing at Byron Creek Farm a pasture based chickens for meat and eggs as well as cattle, Andrew has dedicated time to launching Byron Grass Fed. His aim is to build a regenerative more sustainable food system whilst building stronger connections to our food source.
Andrew sternly believes in giving people the opportunity to a clear option when making an ethical choice with their food. Andrew is well poised to create positive change within this food system and very passionate about doing so. From in the paddock all the way to the consumer as end products.
